Siemens Introduces Intelligent Voice Communication

Siemens has really upped their game this year with the announcements of a large number of new products and devices. It’s an exciting time to be one of their partners, a relationship that has had many benefits for both companies. We’ve both enjoyed the availability of products that can be shared locally and the benefits of service support when either of us needs it. This translates in customer support and service which is the key to any strong business.

I had talked about Cerberus Pro Voice back in February when they rolled it out for the distributors to see while we attended the Partners Summit in Florida. I’m very pleased to see this fantastic product now on the market and ready to save lives!

Intelligent Voice Communication system highlights include:

  1. Digital voice technology - the industry's best intelligibility - communicates clear messages
  2. Customized messages reach specific areas at the same time
  3. Fire and voice (VoIP) networking over the same copper or fiber connection for simpler installation and high quality audio distribution
  4. Meets requirements as both fire alarm system and emergency communication system (UL 864 and UL 2572)

If you are interested in learning more about these cutting edge fire alarm systems feel free to contact Phil Pickering our Sales Manager. He’ll gladly set a time to come down, and show you the many features and benefits the Cerberus Pro Voice has to offer.

If you can make it burn, we can put it out!

Red River Students Shine

Download Attachment...

Our community has been growing with many new people moving into Manitoba the need for more and better trained staff members has never been higher. I started working with Red River College a few years ago in their Co-op Student Program and have had some very good success bringing high quality students who had never considered, or even heard of the fire alarm industry into our company.

We just concluded this year’s group of students, and as usual were very happy with the work they had done, and the quality of training they come to us with. Kevin Lawrence our fire alarm supervisor took the time to complete their reviews as required in their course out lines and was pleased to see the response given back. It’s always easy to talk a good game, but to have someone put it in writing truly reinforces that belief.

I’m looking forward to seeing the beginning of several new careers in the fire alarm industry when their last courses are completed and these people are available full time. I also anticipate more high quality students next year!

Keep up the great job Red River College!

If you can make it burn, we can put it out!

Bison Fire Protection Welcomes Gail Blanchette

We have worked extensively with Gail Blanchette over the last several years while she was with BDC Consulting. She helped us with a restructure that helped us transition from a small to medium sized company. Gail was influential in bringing the Quantus Solutions ERP system in our company, and she also connected us with The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce through their Bold Initiative in Technology. To say that Gail has supported our company is an understatement.

Recently Gail retired from BDC Consulting, but felt she has a lot more to give to the business world. With the fantastic work Gail had already done for us the decision to bring her on as our Corporate Controller was an easy one to make. Her experience with chartered banks and with having run her own company at one time made her a perfect candidate to help us continue the strong growth we’ve enjoyed since the day we opened, and she will be a vital part of our management team as we roam across the prairies.

If you can make it burn, we can put it out!
